Docklands

Somewhere in the harbour area of a big city lies a big ship demolishing yard. Here the Kater family works and lives with their four children. Every day a group of friends gathers here to play outside in the rough industrial area that surrounds the harbour. This is the place where they make their own rules; the Docklands.

“The creators of the television program ‘Docklands’ won the Golden Cinekid Children’s Cabinet Award in Amsterdam on Saturday. They received this award and 7,500 euros during the Cinekid Festival. ‘Docklands’ is a series about a group of children who gather in the Amsterdam port area.”
